Initial Consultation

A comprehensive assessment to understand your health history and fitness goals, and to tailor a personalized exercise program.

Standard Consultations

Face to face appointments, spaced at appropriate times, to support the achievement of your personal goals.

We do this wherever you feel most comfortable, at home, a local nature park, your own gym.

Fees and Pricing

At Play in the Bay ExPhys, we believe in transparency and affordability.
Below you’ll find a detailed breakdown of our fees and pricing for the various services we offer.

  • Medicare Bulk Billing is available for concession card holders with a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan referral. (GST free)
  • DVA clients holding white or gold cards are billed through the Medicare system with appropriate GP referrals. (GST is charged).
  • Private / Self-referral:
    Will incur a gap fee of $50 with a GP Chronic Disease Management Plan referral.
    A GP referral is not always needed.
    You may be eligible to claim for Exercise Physiology services through your private healthcare fund.
    (GST is charged).
  • ALL Clients
    Initial Consultation
    60-90 minutes is needed to gather health history, take baseline measurements, and discuss your goals and circumstances influencing your exercise prescription.
    Full fee $110.35 Medicare Rebate applied where applicable.
    A deposit of $50 is paid at the time of booking.
  • Ongoing appointments will be at least 30 minutes in duration.
    Either bulk-billed via Medicare, or privately at $70.95 per session.
    GST is applicable for non-Medicare appointments.
  • CANCELLATIONS:
    At Play in the Bay ExPhys, we value your time and our commitment to providing quality care. To ensure fairness and availability for all clients, and to cover costs incurred as a result of short-notice cancellations, we apply the following cancellation policy:
  • A $50 deposit is required at the time of booking. This will be applied toward your session fee.
  • Cancellations or reschedules made with at least 24 hours’ notice will have the deposit credited to a future appointment.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will forfeit the $50 deposit.
  • No-shows will be charged the full session fee.
  • We understand that unexpected situations arise, and we appreciate your cooperation in providing as much notice as possible. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible.
